Create a CD to give to the children who are joining your school in the new session, full of all the positive things you want to show. Introduce their teachers, show the playtime and lunchtime routines, tell them about all the fun they will have in the classroom and in the playground.
Provide parents with information on how they can help their child prepare for school.
Within each section of ‘My New School’ the Edit button is displayed in the bottom left corner of the screen. Click on the Edit button to display the edit menu.
You can then add text, photographs, video clips and audio to your presentation.
Add as many pages as you need to each section of the presentation.
When your presentation is complete you can then package it and the files will be copied into a new folder and saved as a programme which can be run on any computer.
The packaged presentation has the ‘Edit’ button disabled.
To update the presentation simply open the master programme, make any changes you require and re-package the presentation. This can be done year after year.
